gonna start restylizing around here, starting with getting rid of the comic sans in favor of times new roman to be more "authentic". unfortunately, this will also resize certain elements, so now i have to go back and adjust everything...

i think this will be worth it in the long run though, i want this site to have more of that authentic geocities feel to it.

this page especially is already formatted with comic sans in mind though... maybe i'll just make this into an "older posts" page and leave the style alone, then make a new blog page with a more traditional style... if so, this will probably be the first post you see on this page.

i think i'll even add the first draft of this blog page as an even older posts page... i'll need to add a button to navigate between pages to the bottom of all these blog pages though...

no real new updates to the site or anything yet, but i did post some more on my original music soundcloud. this post is more just for me to ramble i guess.

unimportant sidenote, but i did get my azumanga daioh rp twitter account back, but now it seems like everyone else is having their accounts targeted too...

anyways, just a random thought i've been having but, isn't fusion so cool? like when in dragon ball or steven universe where 2 characters fuse together and become stronger. it's even meaningful on a symbolic level too, representing friendship or teamwork. i especially like how in steven universe, jasper and lapis fusing is used to invert the concept and symbolize a toxic relationship. there's so much that can be done with the concept, and obviously it results in such cool character designs. i could rant even longer about other angles on the concept like forced fusions, i.e. the nomu in my hero academia, but i think i'll just stop here for now. ok bye

has it really been 2 months?

updates since the last post i guess, i made a watchlist page for stuff i'm watching that isn't on anilist or letterboxd. i also added back buttons to all my pages here and restyled my gallery page to be more like actual old geocities sites lol

i also got into some weird funny azumanga daioh rp on twitter for most of the time since my last update. it's weird how much it impacted my mental state but eventually my account got randomly deleted (and i couldn't get it back, and my attempt at making a new one got deleted too for some reason...) so i just moved away from it

then i guess i started posting mashups on my main soundcloud page again, after clearing out old ones i'm not proud of (thanks to their awful 3 hour limit)

oh yeah and i've been rewatching steven universe and starting sailor moon. ok bye

i messed with zgameeditor visualizer a good bit today. i made a funny gnome video and started an archangel:nemesis amv i'm really proud of so far. not sure what account i want to upload them on though... my main account is too focused on mashups... speaking of which i started renaming my socials today too... i still need to make redirects for my old soundcloud urls though... but that can happen tomorrow...

okay short post i know but i'm tired. that's it. bye.

hey so you know all that "oncoming change" i was talking about feeling was coming? well it happened earlier than expected and i made that last post lol

been in a new "character arc" (if that makes sense) since then. a sudden change happened on that day (i got a bit anxious and then got high and watched ep1 of mysterious girlfriend x). and that prompted me to change my pfp (to mikoto urabe).

other changes have gradually been happening too. been thinking about switching to a new username since yesterday but it'd be a pain to change it everywhere... i feel like retiring "cris2800" as a username though, but i'll probably keep "crisis_online".

oh yeah i also think i'm going to go by crystal instead of cris more often now too. anyways i'm getting distracted so i guess i'm done rambling now bye!!!!!

i got back from out of town yesterday. while i was gone i thought about some things, emotionally i guess. i think there are going to be some changes soon. i can just feel them coming... 2024 will mark a new era. i also might start changing my name to crystal in more places, but i feel like i need a username to match it...

i think december will be a month of endings. in preparation for that i guess. most anime i've been watching are already paused between arcs, but i'm still trying to finish the frieza saga. i also need to finish playing dq11... i should also try to finish some other games like yakuza 5 though... i've had both of those games on the backburner for years at this point... and i still need to pick up ff7 again...

unrelatedly, i've also been meaning to get back into using godot lately... i'm not ready to yet, but hopefully i will be sometime soon... i should also start sketching more often again... but i'm too tired to think about being productive right now...

i added the gallery to the site today.

right now it has links to google drive archives of all my old mashups and stuff. i might update those archives semi-occasionally though, but i'm not sure yet.

there's also a few random examples of my art on the page to fill space. it's mostly archangel:nemesis fanart since that's most of what i've done so far.

i also started reworking my about me page, but i don't know exactly how i want to rework it yet, so i just put up a bunch of under construction gifs.

shoutout to my friend pepper for pushing me to finally actually make the gallery page!

we were talking yesterday and i mentioned how i think it's good to upload things you've made for the world to see, even if they're unfinished or you're not particularly proud of them, because they could still inspire people...

which made me remember how i wanted to make an archive of all my old mashups, so today i finally went through the effort to do it!

now i just need to convince jaine to post her unfinished stuff too...

made a new main page for this site, and now this page is available!

i might as well make use of this post to point out that these posts should be exactly 480x640 pixels in size. it's not really important, but i thought it was interesting.

also, since they're in html, i can change that later if i want to! i could also attatch images if i like, but it would probably slow down this page when there are more posts.

as i type this, i'm realizing how much i can actually fit in one of these boxes! i could ramble about stuff as much as i want here, and if i write too much i could just seperate it into different posts, or edit a post to go against the 480x680 pixel sizing. i could make them as tall or as wide as i want!

welp, i'm nearing the end of this text box, so i should probably quit rambling for now, but i'm starting to be proud of how this site looks now!
